Hi, I am trying to identify the chair in this photograph. I have been told that it is a Fred Lowen SC55, however a quick search online reveals that this is unlikely to be the case. Although the photograph does not show it, this chair has a sprung back and base and not the solid timber backs of some mid-century chairs. If it helps in the identification note the original brass leg cups. The relaxed seating position indicates this is a lounge chair from the mid-century period. Chair is located in Australia.

Any ideas as to the designer, manufacturer, model will be greatly received.
