    Haven't done a Saturday Evening Scout Post for a bit, thought this complete issue of Boys Life from 1939 would be a good subject.
    The scouts on the cover seem to be engaged in some sort of game involving ramming each other with boats. From the fiendish grins of the scouts looks like they are getting in a surprise attack.
    Inside there is a Baby Ruth Candy bar advertisement (in color!) and what I am sure is an exciting tale of the Sahara. The inner pages are printed on newsprint type paper and is a bit fragile. Next is an ad for the Scouting uniform and all the goodies that go with it on the opposite page. I need to get the axe. Also one of those Smokey the Bear hats. Wrapping it up is a very nice Coca-Cola ad. Perfect for framing.

      I was in Boy Scouts for many years!!! 1950's til 90's
      Then in my opinion they had to PC it.
      but I'm just a old F**t!!!
