My mom has told me this piece is at least 85 years old. Are used to play with it as a child at my grandparents house. I am 68 years old. It has a slotted screw on its side that is not Phillips head but it’s painted over. It has a red tongue and my mom says used to have a red color as well. Seams are smooth to the touch Any info that you can provide would be helpful.

This stop is not a Hubley it is a National #149 stop. The Hubley would have been item #331. If you compare the reverse of both note the locations of the screw, back of head etc.
