Bottle of Strychnine Sulphate tablets I found at an antique store. I know they were highly poisonous....what was it used for?

Mystery Solved

Strychnine was used for central nervous system stimulation in a variety of ailments but little, if any, therapeutic merit.
That's from my pocket medical dictionary. Hope it helps a little.
I've heard of deaths from Cocain overdoses because Strychnine was cut into it to make the Cocain seem to be better than it is because of it being a stimulant itself in small doses.

Thank you Triker! It amazes me what people called medicine back then. I've taken to collecting the old bottles...rather fun.
