I have been watching this bracelet for close to a year. D & E Keystone pieces are rare and very expensive, ( in my book anyway). I believe the only reason this piece was on the market so long was...
#2- no one had matching pieces to go with it.
When the seller dropped it more than 1/2 off, I snagged it!
Was it worth the price she was asking? Yes, but it somehow takes some of the joy of finding a piece when you have to dole out the big bucks. I have never seen any of these pieces besides mine on the market. Circa...1963!
Will I find the necklace and complete the set? Only time will tell...
UPDATE: Since my post a year ago, I have seen some of these pieces in olive green and sapphire blue. Leave it to D & E, never too much of a good thing!
