    LOUMANAL
    (436 items)

This was another item from an English family who emigrated to Canada circa 1932. All the contents of their home was sold in house by an Estate Sale dealer. This very detailed Terrine/Tureen displays a deceased Game Bird on the cover. Apparently most of these tureens were made in France by Pillivuyt Co. in the early 1900's. This 7 1/4" by 3 3/4" by 4 1/2" tall pottery tureen has a #7 and another number 1 underneath with a mark that appears to be "Marque Depose" and France. Would anyone know if it was made by them?

Do you think it's supposed to resemble a pastry crust? remarkable dish. :)
