A favorite animal brooch of mine is this 2 1-4" zebra, with his lovely striped rhinestone & frosty textured goldtone body and beautiful brown eyes. By Ciner, founded in 1931, this zebra ca 1980s

Lol Rose, I do have a zoo of animal jewelry and glass, I think I'm just a frustrated wish-to-be veterinarian lol! They are my passion, this is true. Love your super compliment & fun comment

Eileen I certainly do have a menagerie, I just adore the animal figurals they will always be my faves. This zebra does have a proud look, I think Ciner did an excellent job - this brooch looks like it was done by the same designer as my Ciner lion, they are strong bold pieces. Ciner made some beautiful jewelry, my problem is much of it too high priced (but the quality IS there). Many thanks for your lovely words
Lol Lauren, I know, I've got tons of animal brooches, but yes there are some I would love to find - what about a llama or other unusual animal, not easy to find uncommon ones, but I'm always looking! And yes, in this zebra's position he looks like a newly born foal all curled up - super observations & comments, thanks so much!
