Also found last week online. 1" black carved bakelite w/riveted chrome motifs. I think this is 1930's or 1940's (Germany, France or England). It has been repaired but all the squares are perfect, no chips. I won it for less than $20, probably because it looks modern, so was missed, but it's bakelite, passes smell and simichrome tests. This was an exciting win. I bid and won it on vacation at the cabin in North Carolina. Hope you enjoy another addition to my plastic obsession!

Fabulous bracelet, love the chrome accents
Isn't it nice to know your jewelry?
It's an amazing piece!
I love how the little ball of silver connects the bracelet together...
I wonder if that is a patented clasp?
Great find Mary!
Jenni - me too, I am a nut for geometric art deco moderne influences! I wore it last night with 2 other chunky link bracelets. Looked great!
Eileen - Yes! Very fun to know and bid with confidence LOL. There are no marks. The clasp is snug. It has a Jakob Bendel vibe doesn't it? Thank you both for your nice comments.
Great score, Mary, glad you did not miss this gem !~
Phil - thank you, I knew this was a good item to add to my bakelite.

This is gorgeous
So very nice! Love it. It quite rare I think. Have never seen the same kind before. Great find!
lentilka11 - I'm glad you like it, thanks.
Elisabeth - I think it's rare, it was repaired over the years though....you can see the clasp in pic 2 is missing the chrome tube on one side? But, I have no problem with this. Finding black bakelite for good price? Yes, I'm okay with this. XOXO
Thank you Anna!
Wooohh! So glad you got this beauty for a bargain price! Kudos, Ô Plastic Goddess :-D
Thank you Kyra and Happy New Year! It was fun to bid and win on vacation in the North Carolina mountains. I had a feeling it would go cheap because of the description on the listing. Lesson right? If you know your jewelry, watch and go for it.
Thank you Sean and jbingham95 for your loves.
