    I'VE BEEN SEEING A FEW OF THESE TYPES OF CERAMIC ARTISTIC PLATES AROUND THEY LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE APPLIED GLASS ATTACHED BUT I BELIEVE THAT IT IS A THIN LAYER OF SLIP THEY ARE PRETTY AND COLORFUL

      I've seen something similiar and I think it is pieces of colored glass sheets and colored glass nuggets that are melted onto the ceramic base item (plate).
      They are beautiful! Love the creativity!
