This is my other favorite Fratelli Toso Murano Rainbow Art Glass Collection. After the glass is blown into shape, the colored canes are each applied to the outside of the glass and then the piece is heated to attach them to the the casing. I believe that is a part of the long process.
Some of these pieces are "extremely rare" and believed to be "one of a kind" and others are more common. Ya'll might know more about them that I do but I love them more than you do. The paperweights are fairly common and inexpensive but beautiful.
I included a photo of a book with the salt shakers on the cover. The book states that there is only one other set of shakers, known to exist and I have never heard of the existence of the small oil lamp.
I wonder if this is that salt set that they mentioned or if there is another set somewhere.
