Pictured here is a square quart salesman color samples milk bottle from Liberty Glass Company. This bottle is labeled LG (Liberty Glass Co.)...ECONOTAINER...LUSTRO COLOR SAMPLES. Twenty color varieties are displayed on the four sides of this bottle. Dairies could decide what colors they wanted on their own dairy bottles after viewing these bottles brought by glass company salesmen.
These bottles are a colorful addition to a milk bottle collection.
Not an easy find I imagine.
Very true....these color sample milk bottles are not common. There are round examples that are older & even more rare than these.
