This is my match holders collection. The first is iron and is not marked for identification. The second one is hand carved wood and probably German.
I would like to know who made the first iron match holder. It looks like a ship with patriotic flags, swords, horn and drums.
    Thanks.

The first pic is too small and not clear enough for much evaluation of details.

Phil- I just deleted two pictures and took some close up pictures to clarify the first holder. I hope this helps.

Thanks, I see no link to any country as far as the heraldic details in this fantastic creation. The heraldic elements make it a true collectible, through the roof, other than just a match holder. Other than that it is hard to attribute to a maker as most of the match holders do not have a maker's mark on them.

      Thank you Phil
It has a lot going on and some of it is just difficult for me to decipher.
