This is still a work in progress lamp but it's getting exciting! This is the only hanging oil lamp that I have ever seen with horseshoes on the frame. I am still trying to find the right font but this one will work for now. Take a look at the cool horseshoes!

Very neat piece.
Looking at it in these photos, I feel like the burner is too low and should be about level with the base of the shade. I wonder if I have the wrong type of font on it.
See what I mean? The people that sold it to me did not have a font on it and only sold me the frame so I am trying to purchase all the parts to complete it. They said that they had crystals hanging from it for many years with no font or shade and it looked nice.
might try searching hanging library oil lamps or kitchen lamp parts; as these are most often called library oil lamps...
