    I picked this up at a local estate sale and I have always wondered how old it is and where it might have been made.
    It have great carving and very soft feather like cushions. I think that the upholstery is original but who knows?

      It is hard to tell from pictures but they were making these well into the 60's and 1970's, a nice piece. There were always some companies into the 1980;s which were making traditional furniture. By the 1990's there were much fewer since hundreds of furniture companies closed by the 1970's.
