This 2" poodle dog brooch is a favorite of mine because he can stand, and is over halfway formed all around. With rhinestone collar, textured goldtone body & faded black enamel nose, by Marcel Boucher (1937-1971) ca 1950s-1960s

Right Rose, you don't know what gender to call things today, unless it's something definite like a "he" bull. With poodles they often refer to them as she, I guess because of their girly bouffant styling and diamond collars. Thanks for the super compliment
