    What do you get the person who has everything? A Babson Bros The Surge Milker. I got this for my birthday and I did not already have one. Based on the logo this was sold from the 1920s through 1955. I tried to look up the serial number but had no luck. For any of you who are bored it is S154267.
    Apparently this worked quite well and is a vacuum design. Also if the tubes were to fall off the teats of the cow they would not hit the floor. Tubes not included on this one but they were just 4 inches long. If the tubes were to hit the floor they would need to be sanitized.
    Basically it looks neat and can happily live outside which is nice as I am running low on inside.

    Seems there should be category for farm tools. Sometimes I am category impaired as the CW staff well knows.

      I never thought i would see the day that I would be clicking a "love it" for one of these surge milkers. I grew up on a rather large dairy farm in northern WI with these dang things. Very labor intensive work.....I got kicked by many Guernsey cows belting these on them....Ouch!
