This was the large cake plate I got with the Fenton bowl. I have discovered it is made by the Jeanette Glass Company (i'd never heard of this maker!), which apparently closed in 1983. This plate is 12" wide and is in the Iris and Herringbone pattern. I'm not sure when this plate would actually have been made.
AdeleC, Beautiful.
Here's a website with a history of the Jeannette Glass Company and some of its patterns:

Whoops, forgot this:

In the 1950's, Jeannette began making marigold, or iridescent, Iris & Herringbone.

Thanks very much Keramikos.
Adele, lovely plate. The pattern really shows up on the marigold background. Iris and Herringbone is one of my favourites - I have a couple of pieces in clear glass - yours is beeeeautiful, it just glows!
It does glow!
Beautiful!
