Help needed! Seeking info on a very old watch found in family heirlooms that has "Corgemont Watch" and (I believe) "Qualite" or "TQualite", as well as "ACIER GARANTI" on the inside of the back cover. Open faced, no crystal and no hands. Just wondering if any pocket watch enthusiasts out there might have any idea about the age, etc. of this watch, to help us identify which relative it may have belonged to. Also wondering if this could be a ladies watch, due to the small size. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

1920's era. Doesn't look like this one is a runner, Missing hands, lots of rust. Would be parts or keepsake only. They come in all sizes, nothing to note this as a Ladies Pocket Watch.

Seems to be a French watch, no hallmarks for silver or gold. Steel metal is ACIER. I might date it early 20th too, that little pin on the right side by the top was used then, about 1910. Nothing indicates if a man or lady item. Roman numeral face with another dial as a chronometer.

Corgemont is the French name of the company, you can find more antique watches with a search, some are quite valuable in silver or gold.

The dial and name makes it most LIKELY from England or surroundings. I see some stamps in the neck but if it was silver the Mark's should also been on case lion facing left. Most LIKELY gold plated , thus the Acier guaranty mark. I think it means stainless steel. Most LIKELY 1910- 1930.
Test ring on top sometimes those are real gold.
      Hope this helps.

ALSO THE MOVEMENT IS LONGINESS , GOOD QUALITY. IF IT RUNS AND WANT TO KEEP IN FAMILY, SHOP FOR STERLING CASE AND SWITCH MOVEMENT. THERE ARE MANY NON WORKING IN EBAY AND THEY RUN ABOUT 30 DOLLARS.
