Merry Christmas larksel! I have to say, I just about fell over when I saw the design on this vase! Do you know the history of this piece? I think that is a depiction of a Moonwort (Botrychium lunaria). They are endangered and grow near me at about 10000 ft elev. Do you have more pics?

Doing a little more research, I see that Moonworts also grow in the Austrian Alps...

This is Loetz Rusisch Grün Glatt, PN II-369 (shape for Paris World Exhibiton 1900), shape and design maybe Franz Hofstötter, DEK - unidentified - perhaps for Wiener Winteraustellung 1900/1901, size 21.2 x 10.3 cm.
I have to admit that I did not recognize any particular flower in the decor. But you're right it can be Moonwort (Botrychium lunaria).
More photos (but essentially the same or similar) are on my website:

Thank you Sammyz. This plant is very rare also in the Czech Republic. At present it is designated as an endangered species.
