Can anyone tell me about this rocking chair ? I believe it is made by W.F. Whitney and co in South Ashburnham Mass. and says Chair no. 123 or maybe 128. Measurements are 40" high top too floor, top is 15" across, seat in front is 16 3/4" side to side and 13 3/4" at back side to side, rocker pieces about 28 3/4" front to back. Looks like it was refinished at some time, but not very well. Any value in it ? Any info is appreciated. Thank you

Early 20th century pressback rocker. Some online searches should yield information on the maker.

These type of chairs were made in huge numbers by many makers (many mail order), so that don't carry significant values.
