This brooch I received the second week in December 2018, and one of the reasons that I bought it was because it was rectangular which Sherman never did very many of. There is a curved shape to the piece. The black Jappaned back is in pristine condition and when it is viewed almost looks like it is done in a pattern of filigree work The casings at the back are precisly fitted to each stone, as much a work of art from front to back. Coal black in a jappaned setting. Fine symmetrical setting with brilliant cut crystals and navettes. ....H
