    I've grown 66 different kinds of manzanitas - some succesfully, some not. But i just love this iconic california shrub/tree! This year, they are flowering really well - loads of big, brightly colored blooms.

      These are beautiful, reminds me of pieris & kalmia which I have in my new garden. I wonder if these are available to buy in Australia?

      thank you IronLace and Newfld. It would be interesting to try and grow them in Australia. We have somewhat similar mediterranean climates. i've never seen them there though.
