Thanks Eileen for the wonderful compliments and great story, I will have to check out that movie Hidalgo - when I think of wild mustangs in films I always seem to remember that Marilyn Monroe picture The Misfits, which was rather sad about the wild horses in the Nevada desert - they SHOULD be allowed to run free, don't you think

That is to cool.Do you have any idea how many collectible animals you have.All you need is a glass dachshund like my little buddy.
Gee you know I've never kept count of my animal pieces (whether glass, ceramic or jewelry) jb, sometimes I look in my overcrowded cabinets and it kinda scares me lol! I am always on lookout for a "new" (to me, that is) animal & there are several lovely vintage dachshund brooches I have my eye on, will surprise you with a nice doxie post in future - I do have a couple vintage glass dachshunds I will do a post of this wk that I hope you enjoy, waiting for a nice sunny day to take better pix. Won't be as cute as your pet dox, but hope you'll enjoy :) Thanks as always for the kind words & the luv

Ah the little water kelpie again! His stance is great-just like he's surfaced from a lake and is waiting or offereing you to leap upon his back!
Thanks Pascale for the great compliment and love, yes it sure is tough to get good pix of glass animals for me, I like the sunny kitchen window but vary with living room daylight or LEDs for variety, in this case the multi colors came out nicely
