    Has a nybody seen one of these before? It has a screw on back and I believe it has "sterling" carved on back. Front is letter S with arrow crossing it diagonally, red and blue background, set of wings below the S, small star on blue "ribbon at bottom.

      Looks like a factory award pin, it would have differing numbers of stars for differing levels of award.

      Thanks for the comment about it being a factory award. I now believe it’s a SWIFT AND COMPANY service pin, with the stars being an indication of length of service, maybe one star for 5 or 10 years.

      I have found a number of these online. Some with up to five stars. The ones that were marked were marked London and were sterling silver.
