This is an Ideal, 30 inch, mower. Was used on lawns at wealthy estates, Parks and cemetery's. The reel mower is driven by the wheels on each end. The engine drives the big roller to propel it across the lawn. 1920's/30's

Just what I need! I'd love to cut my grass with this!
My sister and I used to have to cut our grass with a reel mower, minus the engine!
What a labor saver this one would have been!
sheep really performed this job where i'm from - up until the 1920s/30s. i'm from the heart of the woolen district in NH/VT. in fact, our neighbor's ancestor brought the first merino sheep to the u.s.a. in 1815 - bringing on the first industrial revolution in north america.
I remember those days too, Watch ! We were child labour.
