I recently purchased this little baby on ebay. It's so Kitsch that it is bordering on the absurd. That is why I like it so much. I've added it to my collection of about 1500 trinket boxes, and given it prominent shelf space.
Does anybody know anything about this box? Year, Location, Manufacturer, etc. It would be interesting to know.

The Edelweiss flower, the hiking boot, walking stick(?), cap with visor, all indicate some Swiss association.
I don't have time right now to delve into your beautiful trinket box using those symbols to direct me but I hope that will lead you in right direction!
