A little grouping of 'toys' from the late 1980's-early 90's, when GARFIELD and THE SIMPSONS were a couple of my particular favorites of the time. All accumulated back around then. :-)

In the middle are 4pcs of an obviously 'incomplete' SIMPSONS set, having two different BART's but no HOMER. [DOHHH...] I don't now know how many more might have been available. MARGE with her trademark hairstyle is the tallest of this whole group, at ~4". They're all solid molded plastic, with branding marks on the backs. (last pic)

The GARFIELDS are a fuzzy windup 'hoppity-hop' toy with plastic feet, and a little painted wooden one with a small hanging string attached probably meant to be an x-mas tree ornament or something. [probably "imported", it has a tiny little paper label around its string but I can't make out what it says]

If the little stuffed puppy was a particular character from something then I'm not remembering him now...but whoever the cute little guy is/was he's got the unmistakable McDonald's logo on his tag. A HappyMeal toy probably??

Indeed it is Thomas (THE SIMPSONS, that is) which I've also still got a boxful or two of VHS videotapes 'home recorded' of the first few seasons thereof to prove it... ;-)

Of course, it remains an open question(s) whether those tapes are still any good (possibly?) and/or if any of my VHS machines still would work to play them (maybe?)...?? <LOL>

THANKS MUCH to jscott0363, Vynil33rpm, Brunswick, purvis, Newfld, Toyrebel, & fortapache for your kind comments and <love it>s!! Scott, the SIMPSONS ones are also probably my favorites of the group, I did then and still do love the TV show. Wish I would have had the presence of mind at the time to have made sure I also had a HOMER, and/or any others that might have been part of the set...? <DOHHH, again...>
