I found this pretty bowl today at thrift store. It was only $4, which I thought was a decent price. Does anyone have any info on this regarding the scene it depicts or age? Hope you enjoy looking!

Wish I felt better, I would help you find the story here. Love the bowl !~

Based on the decoration and back mark I would say it dates to the 1920's. I would also guess it might be Bavaria, but I am not sure. Good luck finding out more about this beautiful dish.

Gorgeous plate MrsT, a beautiful mythology scene. I believe the angel is cupid or Eros, looks like he is leading the way for a couple to escape, perhaps from the watchful eye of Zeus (just a guess :)
