I'd like you to meet Pauley, our "little" son we adopted from the local animal shelter.He's a American Staffordshire Mix weighing in at 63 pounds,He's 2 1/2 years old and smart as a whip,and doesn't know any strangers!

He's awesome!! What a lucky fellow he is! More folks should adopt. We adopted a 3 year old Mountain Cur/Queensland Heeler mix from a kill shelter last Autumn. She's the best trained dog we've ever had.

Adorable !!! We adopted our Penny a blue tick healer. Donated by a hunting club and scratched my head and wondered why ? Then one day one of my neighbors was target shooting and poor Penny took off like a lightning bolt. She just a little gun shy LOL :)

We only owned rescue dogs. The look on this guy's face is the look I would get when I was eating and not sharing some. Right now I have five birds and a dog. Two of five birds are rescue and the other three hatched right here. Dog is a rescue Jack Russel. Always nice to see others who believe in rescue.
