Here are two cast iron well dressed gentleman rabbits. I posted one of these a couple of years ago. It was a gift from my two sons. I hadn't seen another like him, until recently. I made an offer as soon as I saw it and the seller accepted. And now I have two in my collection. These are among my favorites. I'm not sure when these were made, or who even manufactured them, but I'm speculating sometime during the 1960's or 1970's. They're very well constructed and nicely painted. They are direct copies of the original 1920's single faced gentleman rabbits manufactured by National and Albany foundries. And very nice copies at that. These fellows stand about 8" tall and weigh in at around 1 lb pound, or so, each.
Thanks very much for stopping by for a look!!!
