Another musical figural in pristine condition.
Huge foil-backed blue "watermelon" stone as focal point surrounded with blue rs's.
Wire over rosette with beautiful gold plating makes this 50+ year old brooch definitely
D & E!
ENJOY!
Nice and you used the word clef, a term in Music as well!!
Thomas.
I meant to add that I love musical jewelry, I have a few music themed ones.
Thomas.
Thank you Thomas....
For first love and kind comment.
I now have a total of eight figurals from the D & E musical collection...
And as I have mentioned numerous times, still looking for the 4-inch cello :)
Beautiful Piece, as anyone that loves music would love this piece !! Beautiful !
Ohh, this is stunning!
Gorgeous piece, looks very well made !~
Thank you Broochman, your compliment on my D & E collection was so very kind.
And, as I answered before, I'll say it again...it is wonderful to find pieces left and forgotten in drawers or boxes. They retain their beauty for us to again...show other collectors and enjoy!
Awe, thank you Rose!
These are so much fun to collect, though I myself, can't play a tune. I wore the clarinet the other day and someone asked if I played...I just smiled.
Jenni, always there with a wonderful compliment. I'm so glad you like my Treble Clef, even though I haven't a clue what it means in the music world. And yes, I too, love the blue :)
That's very kind of you, strangemodelgirl. These D & E figurals are very pretty, thank you!
Phil, D & E did make very study pieces, do you like the wire-over rosette?
I feel it makes the brooch :)
And thank you for all the loves, dears!
Very nice addition to your collection and in such great shape!
Thank you MrsT....
Yes, for being over 50 years old, it has aged well. Lol
