Early 80s Dream Glow Barbie. When I was growing up, we were extremely poor. To get a doll was a miracle. We had gone to church one Christmas eve, and I saw a girl walk in with this doll. I remember being so envious...wanting to cry cause I wanted it so bad and knew I wouldn't ever have one. Grandpa Joe sat and listened to me tell him how badly I wanted the doll and how badly I wanted to cry over it. He just smiled. That night when we got home and opened presents, he had gotten me the doll already! She never left me after that...this is the same doll. One of my most prized possessions.
