This 3" emerald green glass shamrock has a traditional Irish blessing message written on its box, and is by Roman dated 1978. The 4" ceramic leprechaun on leaf is also an Irish trinket, in lovely pastel colors and marked Shamrock Pottery made in Ireland

      I'll say it again....
It's just wonderful how you delight us with your "Holiday Posts,"
So clever and fun, did I mention both these are quite lovely.
The little leprechaun with his long white beard is so charming, but I bet he's also mischievous! Ha!

Along with the harp (the official symbol of Ireland) I think the Shamrock is the most beautiful- even though it is just a little weed! The little leprechaun in it reminds me of thumbelina, I think sitting on a lily pad except to see one of these guys can have a slightly more mischievous or even sinister connotation. :)

Many thanks all for the St Pat's love

Yep Rose and Scott, I am always up for a holiday, esp a fun one like St Patrick's! Great comments thanks so much!

I know MrsT, was only planning to post the glass shamrock but this sly little leprechaun stole my heart, I had to bring him in lol! Appreciate the really kind words, thanx as always

Eileen you're super nice about my holiday posts all the time, totally grateful for the sweet thoughts friend. Yes this bearded leprechaun has a totally mischievous look, up to some tricks no doubt!

Thanks Thomas for the great holiday wishes, I hope you are enjoying this St Patrick's weekend as well, and wish you great good luck as well

Lauren you have a great eye, I can definitely see Thumbelina on the lily pad in the wizened leprechaun's pose! Did you ever see the cute little TV movie of Thumbelina with a young Carrie Fisher, I loved it & have the dvd, so sweet :) Of course, this leprechaun has some troublemaking on his mind! Love your great comment, thanks so much

Thank you fort, I think we are all glad this holiday fell on a weekend and hope you have a fabulous St Patrick's also
