I came across this brass fan. Last patent date Oct. 9, 1906. Style 108446A. 8 inch diameter fan. I also have it's original shipping crate with brackets. The fan still works. Any thoughts on how rare or collectable this fan is, including the shipping crate? Thanks!

A brass blade fan with a brass cage is very collectible. Hard to say how much the crate adds to the value. For vintage toys it doubles or triples the price.
