The candle holder itself, at the top, is round but the rest is square. The candlestick in its entirety is ribbed and the décor is a honeycomb. That would have been a complicated mould to make!

Love these... A little different form than what is typically seen. Welz must have had some very skilled mold makers!!
Just so, welzebub. Also the ribbing was impossible to capture except for the base.

Kralik1928, I agree that Welz candlesticks are not that common. I couldn't resist this pair though....... so convoluted.
Wow22, I'd never seen this square section shape before, though I've seen round ones with ribbing. I like unusual things.
