i found this, a newer, smaller, brown glass float and a bunch of cork floats and some torn up old netting at my favorite junk shop in Berkeley, CA - Urban Ore. this glass float is about 8 inches across.

Been some years in regards to the Marabou Prince fishing reel. The screw which is the knob, goes in the left hole and screws, through a metal piece inside the reel which is your drag screw. The hole on the right is for a screw that goes through a metal piece that keeps the reel together from the inside. I have one. Pretty cool. I cleaned mine, regreased and oiled all moving parts.,added new line. To operate, push button down with your thumb which holds the line. Take the crank handle, reel it backward until you hear the click, then as you cast, release the button with your thumb and you have the perfect cast. It is a nice piece to have. Neither sporting goods stores or bait and tackle shops around buffalo, n.y. had any idea what it was. Had never seen one before, but we're more than willing to purchase it from me. I am still in possession of this cool reel.
