    It will soon be Easter so I thought I would share this 1917 advertising postcard that I picked up in a recent auction on EBay.

      How you ever found a Easter card from a Fence company is amazing :-) Those little chicks are cute . I always received one on Easter a live baby . I would feed it and care for it and in about 2 weeks it would always go way ?? Now I am sure my parents took it but convinced me they ran away lol . Happy Easter

      Manikin - on the farm we seemed to always have baby chicks around. My uncle raised chicks commercially. Our hens would hide a nest and show up with a litter of babies. Ours didn't "run away". They ended up on the table when the Preacher came for Sunday Dinner.
      Happy Easter. Oh, by the way, this card was on EBay.
