Vico Oil - Pep 88 Gas

    Rattletrap

    The Utah Oil Refining Company was the first Refineryy in Utah and started in 1908 with crude shipped in from Colorado. The oil Brand was Vico and the gas was sold as Pep 88. These two porcelain signs are examples of the early models of sign logos found at Lakeside Storage in Provo Ut. We also have a couple of other designs in the collection.

      Still on the Lava, but get pics of the Museum from my son. These are signs we've had for a long time but never posted before. I think we have 5 or 6 different styles and we have the only 6' Vico Sign known to exist. It's rough but looks fine on the pole at the entry of the facility. Check us out on Utube to see better pics.

      Wrong video. That's great if u want to know about our Storage but was before we added the Museum and 208 Pole Signs along with it. Look under Porcelain Sign collections at Lakeside museum & you should be able to find the new video. My son posted it fro his Tactical Hearnig acct which throws things off in the search
