Hi CW Friends,
I bought this Sphinx bird brooch years ago at Marshall Fields in Chicago. I remember it was on sale, how much? I don't remember. I loved the design and I thought the tag was funny as I didn't consider the jewelry 'imitation'. When I started looking on line years latter, I learned this was a Sphinx brooch although, sometimes people call it Boucher because it has a number on the tail. About 2 and 1/2 inches tall and 1 and 1/2" wide.
Wow very sparkling bird, love it.
I see, the possibility.....,that some number on jewelry brooch could be by Boucher.
