I really have no idea what this is .It seems like an odd shape. Very hard to make out what the mark is on the bottom.

I can't help with the mark on the bottom but the item itself looks like a candle holder from the 1970's or 80's. Pillar candles were popular then and this would be for one of those, I believe.
