This is my parents lamp. They want to know more about it. Most lamps that I was able to research have flowers on them. This one seems to have Little Miss Muffet with the spider. I did find that it has the duplex burner, and that it is considered a library lamp. I would appreciate any information or even a direction to further my research! Thanks

I don’t believe that is Little Miss Muffet.
The lovely young lady is about to be caught up in the “web of love” and that’s Cupid, not a spider. But, just as with a spider’s web, she could be entangled and, possibly, with dire consequences!
The lovely lamp is conveying a cautionary tale, not a nursery rhyme.
Beautiful lamp! I would hang it in a bedroom or lady’s dressing area.

Oh, I forgot to say this: She is precariously over the sharp thorns of roses!
Another cautionary “point” of the design...the gift of roses may woo the young lady who seems blissfully unaware of her surroundings, but there are consequences that go along with love!
