About five years ago there was a couple with children traveling thru arizona and broke down in my home town where i owned an automotive shop.( Winslow AZ ). After informing them what the cost of repairs would be they told me they could not afford it,they told me they would give me the vehicle and clear title if i would drive them to Flagstaff AZ. and buy them a train ticket to california, i told them to gather the their things and i would take them.After returning home i started cleaning the car out and when i popped the trunk the only item they had left was this clock,I took it home hung it on the wall and swung the pendulum and the clock would not run,so there it hung until tonight when i decided to fiddle with it and got it working. every thing on this clock works great(just needed a little t.l.c.)....the manufacture date on this clock is oct. of 1969 and has a regula clock motor....i was just wondering if anyone would know what the value of this clock may be and if anyone might have more info on it.
I forgot to mention that it is stamped(west germany and 8 day on the back).
Hey really funny I was in my grandmothers basement and I found the exact same one let me know if you ever found anything out on it because my father brought this one over from Germany when he was in the army in the late 60's
