Had to go to the post office to pick up an oil painting that I purchased so stopped by a couple of thrift shops on the way home and found two cool things. First was this Gibson Art Glass egg shaped peppermint glass paperweight. It has the Gibson mark and date on the bottom. The coloring and composition is very close to a little bird on birdbath paperweight I posted a few months ago. This one is 3" high and 2.5" in diameter. A nice little chunk of glass for $.99 at GW.

I had to go out to pick up cat meds today, so stopped at four thrift shops and found a nice little watercolor and two small rag rugs at the last one. I don't think the rugs are old as they are in great shape. I may post them later.
