Another frame of my collection, the four drills (long ones) were from a flea market lot years ago. The pink dovetail and the grey( LOL!-is it grey or gray!?!) - fluted spear were from a local farm auction, ( I took these two to an expert that I knew because I wanted a second opinion and he said that he would double my money for them, so I thanked him for the confirmation! The center bifurcated point was found by my daughter when she was around 10 yrs. old, boy was she excited!! The ones around the perimeter are personal finds by me. Thanks for lookin! Rob

Rob, I have a tumor on my And renal Gland..I go to Mobile on Monday for biopsy. Thank you for your thoughts and well wishes!

Sorry..typo..'Adrenal' right one above my kidney. Responsible for making and distributing are hormones, so I'm on some high end steroids at the moment, among other meds. I am ok, just a step by step process.

BB2, Lol! 90% Republican around here, but no matter which party there is a whirlwind of stuff about..alot of stuck in the day politics, it hasn't worked in a 100 years, but it might tomorrow?? Really!! Lol! The Indians had it going on..peace talks, let's pass the 'brownie' and think on such things.

Bobby, I never found an unbroken drill & when I was a kid (just a few yrs. ago), didn't know what they were. Sure wish I had one (hint, hint). LOL. Thomas. We are going to have to stop meeting like this. I quit watching Amer. politics. Too much like watching children in a sand-box. What happens tomorrow ?

Well bb2, I found a beautiful black very thin complete drill years ago and couldn`t believe it was intact after all those years. Very excited, I took it to my parent`s house showed it to my mother and she dropped it on the floor. It broke in two- the glue is still holding. These drills are flea market finds from when my father decided to go arrowhead hunting with his wallet, he didn`t have the patience to go surface hunting!

The Injuns here were Arawak & Caribe & didn't have flint, so looking is a waste of time unless you happen to find a carved figure etc.. I've joke about taking the broken points & chips & scattering them around the "histerical foundation" village digs to drive the more nuts. LOL . Did find a flint outcrop off of Antigua & tried my hand at knapping/bleeding. Don't ask ! LOL !!

Sorry for the late response Bobby. I just came upon the listing while back tracking posts. A very nice collection. If I am not mistaken, the point on the right of center (as viewed) is a folsom point, very hard to make and harder to find in the condition that your's is in.

I will put my collection on here soon I have them in storage an haven't seen them myself for awhile. I've been collecting since I was 12 that was back in 1968 and living in the Missouri Ozark is a great place to live and look.
