    By the Pacific Foundry, San Francisco. This piece weighs at least 60 lbs. It's extremely heavy! i want to make a garden sculpture with it. any ideas?

      I'd havta guess some sort of 'building support column' thingie but don't know for sure -- one thing I *can* say with certainty is, if it was mine, it'd also be someplace outside "decorating" a flowerbed or something...? <lol> :-) :-) :-)

      I believe Anythingobscure to be correct. A jack for a floor hoist in a home that needs leveling. Most times folks would jack the beam up and just leave it. Some put in blocks then remove jack. That would be better..you may want to use the jack again! Lol!!
      It looks very heavy!!
