      So glad Grandmother's jewelry is still in the family.
      I'm not sure but there was a maker named Urie Mandle who was famous for his Swords & Chatelaine Daggers! I believe they were made of sterling, from the 1940's.
      Try looking up "Urie F. Mandle Co." ( his first job as a very young man was working for the head of Coro, before it was Coro!!)
      Urie Mandle pieces are expensive and quite sought after....good luck!
