The Elephant is known to have one of the best memory banks in the animal kingdom.
Though they are quite large, their brain is quite small.
Thomas.
It's magnificent!!
Elephants are very impressive creatures, and this is a really impressive sculpt catching a surprising amount of detail- such as his skin folds and his trunk wrinkles, :P He's got a great pose too, it's very naturalistic and makes him looks like he's in the middle of a sand bath!
I really like the choice of colour on this, it's greyness makes it seem all the more natural and learning this was part of a series for the World Wildlife Fund I'm really curious as to what the other sculptures in the series are,
Thanks so much for the love all

Thomas that is so true, supposedly an elephant never forgets, pretty cool to have that memory but wouldn't want to get one mad & have a stampede lol! Great comment as always, thank you!
Thanks Ken for the super compliment, I like this elephant best because Hoff tried to make it realistic, from the color to the skin texture, he was commissioned by the wildlife fund so I think he captured the real thing pretty well
Hi Lauren and thank you for the wonderful compliments, you have such vision about things, I love to see him having a sand bath and agree the colors and body wrinkles are really lifelike. I have some other glass pieces this designer Hoff did for Kosta Boda such as a cheetah, wild horse & birds, but there were so many others including a large eagle & orangutan, someday maybe I can add these if I get lucky
Malkey I am so glad to see you and very grateful for your kind love for my elephant
Great detailed elephant. Very realistic looking!
Thanks MrsT for the kind words and love, I think he's pretty realistic looking too & appreciate the thoughtfulness
Many thanks Sean for the wonderful love and support
How did I miss an elephant!
Must of been a day I was stuck in jewelry!
He is very impressive indeed, and I like the way he tilts his head while raising his trunk.
Elephants are a natural wonder, and yours portrays one perfectly!
Many thanks for the love

Thanks Eileen for the super compliments, and anytime you find my animals is a good time! What I like best about this one is the natural grey color, the artist must have studied elephants as it's quite realistic
