We would need a clearer pic of the back. You can edit you pics and remove the 3re blurry one and then put two more pics. Get a better pic of the clasp, a side view would allow it to be seen.

It is an earlier 'resin' (generic term for what are basically plastics) cameo, probably 1950- 65. The ones being made now are frighteningly realistic in coloring.

So true. I had a friend call me to ask me about one she saw for sale with pearls on it. The seller had the pearls listed as Akoya, that was wrong, they were Biwa and the cameo was a purple-ish, blue-ish gray color. The obvious answer to me was...NO! I told her to look at Michaels and sure enough, she found all the makings there. She doesn't know it yet but I'm going to make something similar for her with the one I have that's 12k. I'm excited to see her reaction! We've known each other since we were 5 yrs old! That's a loooong time ;)
