    (253 items)

On my previous post, I showed You a sort of a obscure item around here, a in the day way to know the weather at a neighbor's home.
While still hanging out and walking through His property, I then spot this 24 case wooden Coca-Cola crate. Now, You know I'm going to inquire! Lol! And I did...
My nneighbor goes, "Oh..That old thing..You can have it!" I took it!
I, as of late, have found myself coming across old soda bottles, different ones, mostly in my woods.
I didn't ever mean to begin to collect any bottles, but if I find them I'm not going to just leave them lay, so now I have a space in Music Cave where for now they are in milk crates until I can figure out what to do! Lol!
I'm getting like our good Friend here, Iggy..."Bottles And Records"!! Lol!!

Enjoy the crate and "Enjoy Coca-Cola!!"

FOOTNOTE: I do not know possible age of this. It is all original and in decent shape.

    Thank You,
    Thomas.

Way to go Thomas, I love it...'Bottles & Records'. That crate could be from the 60's. I have to start posting soon but need a better camera.

Check the inside for a date....I have one made to hold 4 of the six-pack paper cartons and it is stamped on the inside with “Chattanooga 1972”.

Hey Thomas, I like the first photo of you comin out of the woods lookin like Sasquatch! B^o Then showin your Big Foot! In photo two! &:^} Photo three should have been an empty bag of Jack Link's Jerky! :^D Seems whenever I see a wooden Soda Box, I check-um out, sometimes if they're cheap enough I'll buy them, but if you can get-um for free, ya gotta take-um! Then just throw it in the pile! :^)

Thomas this is what I found on Fine Print Art, about the Coca Cola logo on your Wooden Case Box:

      1969-1985 Catch the Wave

In late 1969 Coca-Cola introduced a new brand logo featuring a design element dubbed the Arden Square. The red square featured a classic Coca-Cola logo and what is known as the Dynamic Ribbon device. The new design was used in all publication materials along with the product itself. The word "Drink" above Coca-Cola was also replaced with the word "Enjoy".

      Just a tidbit! :^)
