I went to a car boot sale this morning and came home with some interesting items. The glass bowl is a Jeanette Glass Eagle footed bowl, with some gilding. I didn't notice one of the wings was broken till I got home, but it was only £1! Then 3 pieces of Wedgwood Jasperware for a £1 each, and a pretty brooch with cloudy green stones. The gilding is very worn though!

Very nice Finds AdeleC, the back birds wing on the bowl, is it glued? It fine for what you paid, I love those Jeannette Bowls too, and when you see things you like, sometimes you go blind to imperfections, and that's ok! :^D The Brooch is nice, if it can't be cleaned, the stones can be used for repair!

Thanks Bill, the back wing top is glued on, but it’s still a pretty and useful bowl.
I love the design of the bowl! I too forgive imperfections......after all will you ever see another!
